Noted alpinist and Estes Park local, Greg Sievers will be giving a presentation titled," Frozen
Summer & Continental Drift" at Ed's Cantina on March 24th at 7pm.
Greg Sievers' presentation at Ed's Cantina will in his words be: "sort of a cross section of my nearly
thirty years of climbing".
These thirty years include extensive travels for high altitude mountain climbing every year since 1986 to: Alaska, Canada, Russia, Tanzania, New Zealand, Peru, France, Switzerland, Bolivia, Mexico and too many rock and mountain destinations in the western U.S. to list.
Greg was also the decade long chairman of the Central Rockies Section of the American Alpine Club and is a past recipient of the prestigious American Alpine Club, 'Heilpren Citation' (for service) in 2004and the Access Fund,
'Sharp End Award' in 2002.
