Sunset over Arrowhead Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park, CO.

The south face of Arrowhead has become a popular destination in recent years due to the high quality granite climbing available from above Black Lake in the Glacier Gorge of RMNP. The seldom visited north face, accessed via a strenuous hike to Solitude Lake, has the potential to hold a number of ice and mixed routes in the 'right' conditions. There is certainly the potential that the recent melt-freeze weather pattern that has been prominent in RMNP the last month has produced these ideal ingredients for the formation of water ice. Until Google Earth is available in live-time, only a hike into this cirque will give the answer?
