The Broadway Ledge system on the east face of Longs Peak in current mid-June conditions.

The east face of Longs Peak is still in mixed condition and the summer rock season up here will be a shorter one this year.  Hopefully a few weeks of warmer weather will dry-out the steeper sections and as early as April, ascents of the Diamond have been done this season- likely with a few points of aid.

Classic alpine routes such as the Notch Couloir, Kieners, and the North Face are in mostly firm snow shape at the moment and there is fresh water ice on many steep surfaces above and below Broadway.
