The Sharkstooth and Stilletto in the first light of July 8th, 2010.

With clear skies this morning, a fresh coating of snow was observed covering the north face of Longs Peak  along with the southern and northern flanks of Mt. Meeker.  The east and north faces of the Sharkstooth pictured contain some of the higher altitude rock climbing routes in Rocky Mountain National Park with the base of the Sharkstooth at almost 12,000'.  The Stiletto (right) has almost no documented routes on an 800'+ face and opportunities for alpine adventures galore exist on this very climbable rock.
