We received more than  five feet of fresh powder while on our April 2010 trip and with a lack of wind or cohesive snow in this area, avalanche danger remained MODERATE during our week in the mountains.  As a result, we enjoyed great skiing from 30 to 50 degrees in steepness while ski mountaineering in North America's greatest mountain range.

We will be returning from April 17-24th, 2011 with a group of skiers who are excited to spend a full week exploring the glaciers and peaks on this side of the Alaska Range where we have found consistently great snow since Eli started leading climbing and skiing trips here in 1995.  There are still a couple of spaces available on this amazing trip for 2011 and we're happy to have split-boarders, telemark, or AT skiers join in the fun.  Please check-out the trip details here or contact Eli at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
