Backcountry skiing in Rocky Mountain National Park is some of the most accessible and scenic big mountain skiing in Colorado. With close trailheads to most of the Front Range and great skiing conditions for much of the year, it's amazing that there still aren't many skiers out exploring the vast potential of backcountry terrain available in this close proximity 'backyard'.
